Question:            Is there a need to cure the surface before applying Garware Wall Filler Putty?

Answer:               The surface should ideally be pre-wetted before applying Garware wall filler Putty. It helps is providing a strong bond with the substance.

Question:            Should curing be done after the application of Garware Wall Filler Putty?

Answer:               Incase of Garware Wall filler putty, Curing is not required.

Question:            How many coats of Garware Wall Filler Putty should be applied on the surface on which it is applied. Normally, 2 coats of 1.5 mm thickness are ideal.

Question:            Garware Wall Filler Putty or POP (Plaster of Paris) which is better?

Answer:               Garware Wall Filler Putty Stands out as much better option that Plaster of Paris. POP is extremely hygroscopic and susceptible to the ingress plaster of Paris. POP is extremely hygroscopic and susceptible to the ingress of moisture, which damages the surface. But Garware Wallfiller putty is imported white cement based product with the property of water resistance. Also, a coat of primer should be ideally be applied on POP, which is not required in the case of Garware Wallfiller Putty.

Question:            What type of surface is ideal for applying Garware Wall Filler Putty?

Question:            How many grades/types of wall filler Putty are available and how are they different?

Answer:               Garware Wall filler Putty is available in two grades: SF (Fine Putty) and MF (Coarse Putty). Gareware Wall Filler Putty MF is used as first coat on the surface to cover major undulations and  final finishing is done by applying Garware Wallfiller Putty SF.

Question:            How many coats Garware Wallfiller Putty should be applied on the surface before painting?

Answer:               The number of coats depends on the quality of the surface on which it is applied. Normally, 1-2 coats of Garware Wall Filler Putty are ideal.
